The key component of VoicePlay is the V-KP-1, an Amplified Keypad with Alexa Built-in. Russound's new elegant system features a 2 channel amplifier built directly into the keypad, which can deliver crystal clear sound to 2 loudspeakers while being powered via the V-PS-2 60W Power Supply.
The new Russound VoicePlay system installs quickly and will easily update any existing amplified keypad system to add the best of streaming audio, app, and voice control. It is also an ideal new system option for the more budget conscious multi-room customers - and for customers who want voice control coupled with simple keypad functionality... and minimal electronic clutter.
Designed as primary audio source in new and existing audio systems, it is powered across any existing wiring (A-BUS, CAT-5 or speaker wire) from a central location - with localised speaker runs from the keypad. VoicePlay Works with Alexa, Spotify Connect and other popular streaming services, and also has Bluetooth 5.0 for playing audio from any phone or tablet - ensuring a host of sources can be enjoyed on the go.
The V-PS-2 is designed to provide crisp, audio-quality power for up to two Russound V-KP-1 amplified touchpads with Alexa Built-in™.
Providing 2 designated power outputs for the V-KP-1 (which can be cat5/6 cable or 2 core speaker cable), the V-PS-2 can be located centrally in retrofit systems - or simply kept more regionally in new build projects. Simple, compact and sytlish - the V-PS-1 can be shelve mounted or wall mounted for discrete positioning.
For getting the best from the V-KP-1 keypads, the Russound IC-605's are an ideal partner. Designed with an integrated one-piece baffle / woofer basket for enhanced rigidity and a deep bass sound. The perfect choice for multi-room audio applications, the IC-605 incorporates advanced feautres not typically found in a speaker at this price point, from the inverted parabolic surround to critical mid-range and higher frequency sounds, you'll love the way these speakers perform.
