neo: HDMI DAC with HD Upscale/Downscale (P8-HDMIDAC)
Although 4K UltraHD has arrived, not every client will ditch their existing HD screens overnight so the ability to support a combination of 4K and 1080p HD displays within the same distribution is vital, especially when resolution conflicts that effect systems, including screens of different capabilities, are considered.
The neo: P8-HDMIDAC video scaler and digital audio converter (DAC) is designed to be placed between a display and a source device. It adjusts resolution and audio from an incoming HDMI source and scales the output to a level compatible with display capabilities. Added to which, this 'swiss-army knife' also can be utilised to boost and buffer longer HDMI signal runs over pre-made cables for longer runs and more reliable performance.
The HDMI DAC is also a very useful tool for incorporating HD audio signals into analogue audio distribution systems too, as the unit will down-mix the audio signal and convert to a standard stereo output via it's 3.5mm output making it perfect for a host of multi-room audio controller/matrixes and digital to analogue audio format requirements.
So this product is the ideal solution to accommodate both HD and 4K sources and displays within any multi-zone residential or commercial distribution system, and to keep on hand for a multitude of installation applications.
